Forever Destined
A collection of instrumental tracks for a video game I worked on.
Can you outrun the weight of your sin? Or does your past claw deep within? In shadows thick, a flicker of flame, a fleeting hope to undo your name.
Music as Lireo
Music is an essential part of every culture and expresses what words cannot.
For as long as I can remember, music has been a part of my life. I have studied clarinet at a conservatory for over eight years while independently developing my work as a composer and producer under the name Lireo. These two forms of making music have taught me to approach sound both as a performer and a composer.
Performance History
I have performed at venues including the Adolfo Salazar Professional Conservatory, Cardenal Cisneros, the Professional Conservatory of Music of Zamora, and Sol plaza, among others. I have also performed at Spain's National Auditorium more than ten times.
Composition
Composers like Manaka Kataoka have changed the way I perceive scores. Scores are more than an optional intermediate step between an idea and a product; they are essential to turning an idea into a complete work.
Frost Hollows is an original composition for flute, piano, soprano, and strings. This track belongs to an ongoing long-term project. I wanted to build a cold, archaic sound world by passing the musical focus between voice, strings, piano, and flute within an evolving atmosphere.
Production
These are some of my published works on SoundCloud. I have accumulated over 6,000 streams from past works and I am currently working on a new long-term project.

My first album represents a lot of ideas. Drawing on influences ranging from The Long Dark to Erik Satie, this collection reworks those references through my own musical language.

Creative Process
My work often begins with inspiration from other media. One of my latest inspirations is Silksong, a truly complex video game about the dangers of theology as a tool of imperial power, whose music, narrative, and visuals have changed how I think about my own music.
I create scores mainly using MuseScore and Muse Hub sounds, though I also sketch musical ideas by hand while playing the piano.
When I first started, I used GarageBand and LMMS, but for the last couple of years I have settled on FL Studio along with third-party VSTs and SoundFonts.
My main inspirations are Christopher Larkin, Sofiane Pamart, and Erik Satie.
My music is built around minor tonalities, Andalusian progressions, and frequent tertian extensions (9ths, 11ths...)
